Nobody has to earn the right to say no
Consent here means asking out loud and waiting for an answer. Not reading a look across the dance floor, not deciding that because somebody is undressed on Thursday's FKK night they have agreed to anything at all. You ask before you approach, before you touch, and again when the plan changes.
A no needs nothing attached to it. No reason, no apology, no softening "maybe later". And a yes is not a contract: you can stop halfway, get dressed and go back to the bar. Changing your mind is ordinary behaviour in a lifestyle club, not bad manners.
With couples, ask both people. One partner's enthusiasm is not the other's, and quiet is not agreement. The fastest way to make yourself unwelcome is to keep talking to the half of a couple who is saying yes while the other has gone silent.
If someone will not take no for an answer
Pressure after a refusal is the one thing that spoils a room. If it happens to you, it is not your job to manage it politely, invent an excuse about your friends waiting outside, or sit it out somewhere until the person loses interest.
Say something. At the bar, at the entrance, to whoever is working that night. You do not need evidence and you do not need a scene: pointing someone out and saying they would not accept a no is enough. Raising it is not causing trouble. In a club that treats consent as the condition of entry, it is the expected thing to do.
If you would rather bring it up afterwards, once you have slept on it, +34 646 44 71 34 and info@infinityswclub.com are the club's own contacts. A venue that puts consent at the top of its house rules has to be willing to hear when it has been ignored.
Discretion, and why an island makes it serious
Playa del Inglés is small, and the south of Gran Canaria is smaller than it looks. People overlap: the same supermarket on Avenida de Alemania, the same stretch of beach, sometimes the same flight home. Discretion here is not a marketing line, it is the thing that makes the place possible.
The convention is short. Whoever you meet inside, you do not recognise outside. No knowing nod by the hotel pool, no first name dropped in front of the friends you came on holiday with, no hints. If you live on the island all year, that protection is the whole point. If you come back every winter, it is what lets you come back at all.
It covers what gets told later, too. Your own night is yours to talk about. Somebody else's, in any detail that identifies them, is not.
Watching is a complete night out
Plenty of people come in, have a drink, dance, watch the room and go back to their hotel at two without touching anyone. That is a full evening, not a wasted one. Walking through the door commits you to nothing: not a conversation, not a drink, not standing in the private area.
If it is a first visit, choose the night carefully. Wednesday's Couples Night is the quiet, talkative one, 21:00 to 03:00. Friday and Saturday bring a DJ and run to 04:00, busier and easier to blend into. Sunday's All For One Night is the most explicit evening on the calendar, with limited numbers and booking advised: not the one to begin with.
Coming on your own? Arrive early. Doors open at 21:00 and the first hours are the conversational ones, when it is easy to stand at the bar, work out how the place runs and decide in your own time. Leaving early is fine as well. The door works just as well in the other direction.
Rules are what make a club worth the taxi ride
The difference between a serious club and a room with dim lighting is not the decor. It is whether anyone holds the line at the moment holding it becomes inconvenient. A place with no rules feels freer for about twenty minutes and then becomes the place you would never take your partner back to.
Infinity is a private adults-only club in unit 27 of the C.C. La Sandía, on Avenida de Alemania in Playa del Inglés. Six nights a week, the same standard on all five: over-18s only, explicit consent, discretion, respect. None of that restrains anybody. It is precisely what allows a couple who have never done this to walk in on a Wednesday evening and stay.
Anything you are still unsure about, ask before you travel. A message to +34 646 44 71 34 commits you to nothing at all.
