What Sunday's Gangbang Night actually is

It is the last night of our week and the most explicit one. Infinity is a liberal club — a swingers club, if you prefer the plain word — in Playa del Inglés, and on Sundays the centre of gravity shifts to the private area at the back.

It is not a free-for-all. Capacity is limited, everyone comes with a booking, and the house rules are actually enforced. Anything can happen, nothing has to.

How the evening runs

Doors open at 9pm and the night runs until 4am. It starts the way every night here starts: a drink at the bar, some time on the dance floor, and room to find your feet before anything else.

The private area sits at the back, away from the rest of the club. You walk in when you feel like it and step out whenever you want. Heading back to the bar halfway through is completely normal.

• Premium bar, dance floor and chill & lounge area to settle in with no pressure.
• Private area at the back, open to come and go all night.
• VIP room if you would rather keep to a quieter corner.
• Last call at 4am.

Who it is for, and what you don't have to do

Couples, single women and single men. Some take part, some watch, some spend half the night at the bar deciding whether the lifestyle is for them. All three are equally welcome and nobody will ask you to justify it.

If this is your first time in a couples club, Sunday can look like the most intimidating night of the week. In practice it is the one we explain most carefully at the door, precisely because it is the most explicit.

• You don't have to take part in anything; coming to see how it works is reason enough.
• You don't have to arrive as a couple.
• You don't have to undress — the dress code is free or elegant, your call.
• You don't have to explain yourself when you step out of the private area.

Consent and house rules

This night rests on one simple rule: a no is respected the first time, with no insisting and no reasons asked. Anyone who doesn't get that goes home. It is what keeps everyone else comfortable.

The rest is common sense, and it is also why people come back.

• No photos, no filming. Phones stay away.
• Explicit consent before any approach.
• Hygiene and a well-kept look: it shows and it is appreciated.
• Total discretion, inside and outside the club.
• Over 18s only. Right of admission reserved.

Entry, opening hours and how to find us

Entry is €20 for a couple, €20 for a single woman and €50 for a single man. Every ticket includes a locker and two drinks. An extra locker with two towels is €5, and a towel at the bar is €3.50.

You'll find us at C.C. La Sandía, Avenida de Alemania 3, unit 27, in Playa del Inglés (Maspalomas) — a short drive or taxi ride from almost any hotel in the south of Gran Canaria.

Almost everyone arrives with the same questions, so here they are answered in advance.

• Can I book on my own? Yes. Capacity is limited and admission is confirmed privately.
• Do I have to decide anything at the door? No. You come in, you look around, that's it.
• What if my partner and I don't agree on something? You stop. The night carries on just fine at the bar.
• Can I arrive later? Yes, but capacity rules: the earlier you book, the better.
